The Adel City Council approved the fiscal year 2021-2022 budget at their regular meeting Tuesday.

The Council approved the budget and it must be delivered to the Dallas County Auditor by March 31st. Also, the Council approved the final agreement for fiscal year 2021-2022 police union wages with a 4.5-percent increase across the board and the memorandum of understanding between the City of Adel and Teamsters Union regarding starting wage rates.

Also, the Council approved fiscal year 2021-2022 non-union city employee wages with a 4.5-percent increase which most positions will receive on July, 1st 2021 and moving forward with the RFP submittal from William Dodds for the sale of the City’s downtown parcels.
