Thursday, March 4th
11:52am: Dave Mulder reported a Suspicious Male in his yard at 1301 North Elm Street. The officer located the subject walking and spoke with him. He advised some friends had left him at the Casino and he was trying to find their residence.
8:56pm: Everette Beebe reported a Suspicious Vehicle in the 300 Block of East Washington Street. The officer spoke to the vehicle’s owner, who advised her son was using the vehicle.
10:14pm: Lisa Mobley reported a Suspicious Vehicle parked in the 200 Block of North Walnut Street. The officer found the unoccupied vehicle was legally parked.
Friday, March 5th
1:18pm: Austin O’Connell requested an officer at 307 West Lincoln Way Street. He advised the officer he and his girlfriend were involved in a Verbal Argument and he wanted the officer to cool her down before it became physical. The officer spoke to both parties and mediated the issue.
1:31pm: Robert McCauley advised of a vehicle Tailgating him as he entered Jefferson n 220 th Street. The officer located the reported vehicle and spoke to the driver about the issue.
5:28pm: A Traffic Stop at Central and Grimmell Road resulted in Duane Forkner of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
9:27pm: Linda Eighmy reported a neighbor’s vehicle parked in her property’s private driveway at 705 West State Street. The officer spoke to the neighbor about the issue and the vehicle was removed.
Saturday, March 6th
12:29am: Tammy Ganoe requested an officer to give a message to a Jefferson resident about a family emergency. The officer did not locate the subject to pass the message on to them.
10:10am: Doug Eischeid reported (3) dead hogs he located in a melting snow pile near 2009 North Mulberry Street, near Sparky’s One Stop. The officer spoke with Sparky’s about removing the animals, since they were discarded on their property.
2:02pm: Jammie Venteicher spoke to an officer concerning a Civil Property Issue occurring at 304 West Reed Street.
6:57pm: An officer was requested at 777 Wild Rose Lane after Casino Staff determined a patron had signed a Self-Exclusion Form to remove his ability to gamble in Iowa. The officer issued Dickson Morris of Grimes a Citation for, “Trespass – Simple.”
9:24pm: Ronnie Huntly reported debris on the road in the 600 Block of East Hwy. 30. The officer removed the debris.
9:41pm: Merissa Olson reported hearing an argument occurring near the 100 Block of South Chestnut Street. The officer located a group of juveniles in the area, who advised they were talking loudly, but not arguing.
Sunday, March 7th
4:13am: An officer assisted with a Medical Call in the 1000 Block of West Adams Street.
8:11am: Officers were called to 107 North Olive Street for an argument between a mother and daughter. The officers mediated the issues with the pair.
9:58am: Officers assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 200 Block of North Pinet Street.
11:36am: Officers checked 400 West Russell Street after a 911 Hang Up Call from the residence. The occupant advised all was fine and she had accidentally dialed 911.
11:52am: Officers checked with the resident at 700 North Chestnut Street, after an Open Line 911 Call from the residence. The officer learned it was a phone issue and all was fine.
2:25pm: Bruce Binkley reported a subject on a Side-by-Side ATV driving on the bike trail in the 500 Block of East Garfield Street. The officer located the subject and spoke to him about the issue.
4:25pm: A Traffic Stop at Brackett and Elm Streets resulted in Craig Arthur of Ogden being cited for, “Driving While Suspended.”
7:50pm: A Traffic Stop and Lincoln Way and Grimmell resulted in Joshua Smouse of Coon Rapids being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
9:31pm: A Traffic Stop at State and Locust Streets resulted in Jessica Coffin of Grand Junction being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
10:27pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 704 North Elm Street. The officer found the building to be secure.
