A single vehicle crash near Minburn last Sunday resulted in injuries and charges.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident at 12:57 a.m. Sunday, February 28th at 2nd and 195th streets in Minburn. Chief Deputy Adam Infante tells Raccoon Valley Radio 28-year-old Jacob Ryan Scherer of Minburn lost control of his vehicle as it went off the road. The report shows Scherer was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Scherer was treated at the scene by first responders for minor injuries. Infante says Scherer was then arrested and charged with misdemeanors for his first offense for an OWI and failure to maintain control. 

Scherer was booked and released from the Dallas County Jail.
