A two-vehicle crash from last Saturday near Perry resulted in injuries. 

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, the collision happened at the intersection of H Avenue and Highway 141 at 5:04 p.m. Saturday, February 27th. The sheriff’s office says one driver, identified as William Schreck of Dedham, was cited for failure to maintain control when he hit a vehicle driven by Kimberly Ash of Perry who was slowing to make a turn onto H Avenue. The report shows Schreck was trying to pass Ash, but wasn’t aware that she was turning left, due to the sun being in his eyes. 

Ash’s vehicle sustained $15,000 in damages and both vehicles ended up in the ditch. 

The sheriff’s office reported that Ash was transported to the Dallas County Hospital for her injuries and two passengers in Schreck’s car complained of minor injuries but were not transported.
