Iowa State University Extension and Outreach has opened up applications for its Volunteer Master Gardener Training Program.

There is no cost to apply, although there are costs for the training if selected and approved. The application must be submitted by July 1. 

Master Gardeners are volunteers with community gardens and city beautification projects as well as other projects throughout the area, including the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area.
