Dallas Center – Grimes boys basketball will be looking for success at state basketball for first round play on Tuesday afternoon when they take on Davenport Assumption. The Mustangs come into the matchup 20-3 on the season while Davenport Assumption will come in with a 18-6 record in the 4 vs. 5 matchup.

It should be an intriguing matchup between the two the teams, with the last matchup happening in 2013, with the Knights pulling out the victory in that contest. DCG will be looking for better luck as they come in playing great basketball, but know that the Knights will be a difficult challenge and know that it will be a dogfight in the quarterfinal matchup.
