The Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a special evening out for mothers and sons.

The annual Mother-Son Date Night is slated for Friday, March 12th for pre-kindergarten through fifth graders from 6-8:30pm. The event is for mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures to enjoy a night of pizza, bingo and other games at the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson. The cost to attend is $20 per couple for rec center members and $25 per couple for non-members. Each additional boy is $5. 

The event is sponsored by the Jefferson Veterans for Foreign Wars (VFW) and the VFW Auxiliary. Pre-registration is encouraged by calling 515-386-3412 or stopping by the rec center.
