scholarships-2

The Guthrie County Youth Foundation is accepting applications for scholarships for the Class of 2021.

Eligible students must plan to further their education in two or three-year programs in vocational, technical or medical fields. Eleven students were selected last year at Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center, Coon Rapids-Bayard, Panorama and West Central Valley high schools for $300 scholarships. Students who are home schooled in Guthrie County are also eligible. The deadline to apply is March 15.

Applications are available from guidance counselors at area high schools or by emailing Luann Waldo at ciapub@netins.net. Recipients will be notified at senior awards nights for each school.

Scholarships are funded through annual memberships from Youth Foundation members. Contact Waldo for more information on becoming a member.
