A Jefferson man was recently arrested for alleged forgery incidents.
According to court documents, 36-year-old Alan Tuhn is charged with three Class D Felonies for forgery. Court documents show that the victim reported stolen checks to the Jefferson Police Department this past August. During the investigation, it was discovered that Tuhn had used 22 checks at Hy-Vee, Credit One Bank and Premier First Credit Card for a total of $1,753.65. When Tuhn was brought in for questioning, he admitted to using the stolen checks at those locations. The incidents occurred between May 22nd and August 5th, 2020.
Tuhn was arrested on Friday, February 19th and was booked and released under his own recognizance from the Greene County Jail. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
