Drought conditions in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area have held steady over the past week.

According to the United States Drought Monitor, the northwest portion of Dallas County is abnormally dry. The rest of the county is not under a drought. The western half of Guthrie County has moderate drought, while the rest is abnormally dry. Greene County is mostly under moderate drought, with only the southeast corner as  abnormally dry.

Despite no change in drought conditions, several inches of snowfall were recorded this past week. Jefferson accumulated 6.3-inches of new snow for 0.47 inches of precipitation. Guthrie Center collected six inches of new snow for 0.32 inches of precipitation. Perry received 3.7 inches of new snow, amounting to 0.36 inches of precipitation.
