For those who would like to grow their own produce at home, Dallas County ISU Extension and Outreach will be hosting a class in March.

Dallas County Extension Master Gardener Coordinator Megan Will says a Seed Starting class will be held at 6:30 p.m. March 9th via Zoom. Will says it will help people grow what they want at home.

“I’ll be teaching you basically how to do it at home that way you can grow the tomato variety you want or the pepper variety you want, and you can get a jumpstart. And it’s just fun to do at home and then you can grow what you want.”

Will tells Raccoon Valley Radio it is important for people to know what seeds they should be planting and when they should be planting them for the plants to be successful.
