A big game is on the horizon tonight for the ADM Tigers, as the boys basketball team will head to Grimes to take on the DCG Mustangs in Class 3A Substate 8 semifinal action. ADM comes in with a 10-12 record while DCG comes in as the number 3 team in 3A and a 18-3 record. ADM is coming off of a first round victory 54-44 over Harlan on Monday night while DCG knocked off Perry 85-12.

Both of these teams faced off in the first game of the season for ADM, with the Mustangs winning by the score of 76-38. Both of these teams are a lot different since that early December matchup, and the game is expected to be closer tonight. The Mustangs have the series lead at 18-7 since 2006, and have won the last four matchups in the series, though historically most of the games are close.

For the Tigers to pull off the upset, they will have to take care of the basketball, slow down the high octane offense of the Mustangs, and play with confidence and poise.
