It’s National FFA Week and the Panorama High School FFA Chapter is bringing back a traditional celebration to demonstrate some of the activities they participate in.
Chapter Secretary Paul Hansen says a week filled with activities will be a fun way for classes to earn advisory points.
“We’re going to hold a FFA Olympics. We’ll have different career development experiences throughout the school and the different advisory groups for each class will participate in those. We’re going to do meat judging, poultry judging, dairy evaluation. Simply during FFA week, we’ll include the school in some of the activities that us FFA members take part in, give them the experience of what we’re doing and give them a chance to win advisory points for the end of the year.”
FFA Advisor Steven Hameister says due to COVID restrictions, this year’s FFA Olympics will be primarily virtual with events being sent via Google Forms instead of having students go in groups to different areas of the school.
