The Adel City Council approved the preliminary plat for Southbridge Plat 4 at their regular meeting Monday. 

Also, the Council approved the construction and contract bond for the water system improvements 2020, high service pump building. The lowest bidder was Blue Ribbon Builders out of Earlham for $2,143,000. 

Finally, the Council approved the acceptance of the Iowa Department of Transportation’s city bridge funding offer to replace the North 15th Street bridge. The approval of this item allows for city staff to provide the DOT with more information to create a formal funding agreement.
