Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson is in charge of arrangements for Larry Dean
Anderson, 78, of Jefferson. Larry died February 21, 2021 at the Greene County
Medical Center. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Friday, February
26, 2021 at Clover Ridge inside the Greene County Fairgrounds. Lunch will be
served at noon followed by Funeral Services at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at
Franklin Township Cemetery in Cooper, Iowa.
Larry is survived by his wife and partner of 59 years Wanda (Golden) Anderson;
four sons: Jerry McDowell (Kathy Davidson) of Jefferson, Bob McDowell (Jeannie)
of Des Moines, Bill McDowell (Dannelle) of Jefferson and Craig Anderson of
Jefferson; grandchildren: Bobby McDowell Jr. of Ankeny, Sandy Harlow of
Newton, Ryan McDowell (Jessica) of Council Bluffs, Collin McDowell of Nevada,
Conner McDowell of Carroll, Cheyanne Anderson of Jefferson, Joseph Anderson of
Ames, Chiara Anderson of Jefferson, Ashley Humphrey (Andrew) of Carroll, James
Silbaugh of Oklahoma, and ReAnna Silbaugh of Oklahoma; great-grandchildren:
Mason Rockwell, Harper Humphrey, Hunter Humphrey, Jaxson Harlow, Aubrey
McDowell, and Bennett McDowell; and sister Betty Lindgren (Dick) of Grimes.
