The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors have selected a candidate to offer the County Human Resources  Coordinator position after conducting two additional interviews during Thursday’s meeting.

The motion passed 3-2 with Everett Grasty and Clifford Carney voting “no.” Supervisor Chair Mike Dickson said the candidates were all extremely qualified, and it was a very difficult decision from the three interviewees. 

Next, the Supervisors held a 2022 fiscal year budget work session and decided which departments to call in next week to further discuss budget proposals. Finally, they discussed a meeting Wednesday concerning the schedule of the jail construction project and reaffirmed that it is still on time.
