ADM Tiger basketball competed on Thursday night against the Newton Cardinals in their final regular season home game, and were unable to get the win falling by the score of 52-49. ADM moves to 9-12 on the season while Newton improves to 8-12.

ADM was not able to make enough plays on both the offensive and defensive sides all night long, as Newton put together winning basketball throughout the 32 minutes tonight. Newton was able to shoot the basketball at a high clip to get the victory. ADM lead going down the stretch, but Newton was able to hit a big three to tie things up with a minute left, then got a transition bucket to take the lead. ADM had one final shot to tie the game but couldn’t get the three to go down as they dropped their home finale.

ADM will be back on the court for first round substate action next Monday in Adel when they host the Cyclones of Harlan. Tip time will be at 7 o’clock and you can listen to the game on the home of Tiger Basketball True Country K1079.
