A Guthrie Center man was recently sentenced for an incident in 2019.
According to court documents, Tylar Beardsley pled guilty to domestic abuse assault impeding air/blood flow causing bodily injury, a Class D Felony, and was sentenced to three years probation. He also pled guilty to two counts of child endangerment, both aggravated misdemeanors, and received two years probation to be served concurrently with the felony charge.
The charges stemmed from an incident on December 26, 2019 after a woman contacted law enforcement saying that Beardsley assaulted her. A Guthrie County Sheriff’s Deputy spoke with Beardsley and he admitted there was a physical fight, and another witness confirmed he saw Beardsley choke the victim.
