It was cold and snowy during this year’s Bike Ride to Rippey which may have affected the turnout of BRR this year. 

Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the weather and the COVID pandemic may have impacted the turnout for BRR and says  they usually expect roughly 1,200 riders for the event, but only 600 riders were engaged this year in some way. 

“It’s not going to be as much as past years. We knew that it would be a little bit less this year as far as net income for the Chamber.”

Pasutti says though the Chamber was surprised with the response from riders this year and all of the registration comes back to the Chamber to assist them throughout the year along with event sponsors and membership.
