ADM girls soccer made an announcement on Monday with the hire of new soccer coach Jeff Abbas.

According to a press release through ADM schools, Abbas has been an assistant soccer coach with the program since 2010.

Abbas mentioned in the release his expectations for the program, ” We want to bring out the bets in our student-athletes and encourage their development both on and off the soccer pitch. We also have high expectations every year for this team to be among the elite competing at the State tournament at the end of the season.”

The Tigers soccer program has seen a lot of success during this last decade, qualifying for the state tournament six times and advancing to the semifinals twice. The Tigers were projected to have a great 2020 team before Covid-19 cancelled their season.

ADM soccer is expected to have high hopes for the 2021 season, and they’ll have good leadership who is knowledgeable about the program in their new coach.
