Feb 8:
Officers responded to the 2600 block of McKinley on a report of criminal mischief. Report completed.
Arrest: Angel Martin Ibarra, age 22, 2406 Evelyn, Perry was arrested on a Polk County warrant for probation
violation.
Feb9:
Received a complaint of a trespass issue in the 700 block of 1’1 Ave.
Accident:
Vehicle 1 Blue 2005 Ford F150 pick up registered to Kelley Eugene Kirtley, 612 North., Yale, Iowa. Driver,
Brandon Eugene Kirtley, 908 Park St., Perry.
Vehicle 2- 2011 ford F150 pick up registered to Landus cooperative, 105 Garfield Ave., Farnhamville, lA.
Driver, Anthony William Friedrichsen, 21768 141’1 St., Perry.
Vehicle 2 was stopped getting ready ot make a left turn onto First Street at Lucinda. Vehicle 1 was not able to
get stopped and struck the rear of vehicle 2. Minor damage to both vehicles. Driver vehicle 1 issued citations
for failure to stop in an assured clear distance and failure to provide proof of financial liability accident related.
Total estimated damages $1300.
Officers responded to the 900 block of Graceland on a report of a domestic. Case under investigation.
Feb 11:
Officers responded to the Family Credit Union on a report of a possible fraud. Case under investigation.
Arrest: Jonathan De Jesus Melendrez, age 12, 2665 Summer Meadows, perry was taken into custody and
charged with three counts, assault on a peace officer, interference with official acts, and public intoxication.
Feb 12:
Arrest: Julio Andrian Ruiz, age 18, 1421S’h St., Perry was arrested on a Dallas County Warrant, Perry’s original
charge of simple assault.
Accident:
Vehicle 1 black 2012 Chevy Sonic registered to Jan a Marie Dekoter, 1912 NW Sunset Ln, Grimes, driven by
Brooklyn Rayne Dekoter, 1415 1551h Ave w. Milan IL.
Vehicle 2 Parked White 2012 Toyota Tundra registered to Marisa Candelaria Cerna, 2020 Evelyn, Perry.
Vehicle 1 backed into vehicle 2 who was legally parked. Minor dam<tge to vehicle 1. Total estimated damages
$200.
Arrest: Angel Alfredo Sanchez, age 29, 2609 Otley, Perry was taken into custody and charged with possession
of drug paraphernalia.
