The Dallas Center – Grimes Fillies competed on Friday night against the Newton Cardinals, and were able to get a sweep, with the Fillies winning 58-31, and becoming the winner of the Little Hawkeye Conference. They lead 12-8 after one and 35-14 at halftime as they picked up the victory and move to 18-2 on the season.

It continues a long winning streak for the number 3 Fillies, who now will go to their district tournament starting next week, with the hope of making the state tournament come March.
