The Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department is gearing up for the spring season with some upcoming activities.

An adult 6-on-6 volleyball league will be on Sunday afternoons beginning February 14th. Team registrations are $75 and there must be a minimum of four players with gender balance and a limit of ten teams. Games will begin at 3pm at the Greene County Community Center and the registration deadline is today.

The Indoor Youth Soccer program is for kids in grades 3rd-6th at the community center. The program will help participants improve their soccer skills and teach them a new form of the sport. It will be held on Mondays from February 15th-March 8th from 5:30-6:10pm for 3rd and 4th graders and 6:15-7:15pm for 5th and 6th graders. The cost to participate is $15 for rec center members and $20 for non-members. The registration deadline is February 12th.
