The Guthrie Center City Council set a public hearing date for the maximum property tax levy for February 22 during its regular meeting Monday night.

Additionally, the Council accepted a Community Development and Housing Needs Assessment as well as the fiscal year 2019-20 audit report. Next, Council members tabled an easement purchase from U.S. Cellular.

Finally, the Council discussed snow removal in the city limits and potential violations of snow ordinance penalties. They advised that the first point of contact to report violations to be the compliance officer at 332-2192.
