The Dallas County Board of Supervisors issued multiple certificates of appreciation to county employees at their regular meeting Tuesday. 

Those that received a certificate included Jared Higley for five years of service in the auditor’s office, Kim Owen for 10 years in the auditor’s office and Deb Franz for 15 years in juvenile court services. 

Also, the Board approved the Dallas County Law Enforcement 28E agreement with Dallas Center and held an EMS truck disposal workshop discussing what to do with an old ambulance when purchasing a new one in the near future. 

Finally, the Board approved the auditor’s office professional services letter of engagement, discussed finance and operations relating to the closing of funds and an operating transfer and held a budget workshop.

The meeting ended in a closed session to discuss pending litigation.
