With the recent announcement of the City of Perry and Perry Economic Development to work together in purchasing Hotel Pattee, a timeline is beginning to take form.
Perry City Administrator Sven Peterson says the timeline for the purchase of Hotel Pattee has Perry Economic Development setting a closing date of April 1st with the potential for things to change.
With the purchase of the hotel on April 1st Peterson says the focus is for a smooth transition between current ownership and incoming ownership. Peterson notes the Hotel Pattee will look as it did before Perry Economic Development and the City of Perry owned it.
“No large scale changes. I think you’ll see maybe some incremental changes over time but I think those are changes that are already kind of happening and growing as they come out of the pandemic operation mode.”
The partnership of Perry Economic Development and the City of Perry was recently announced at a special City Council workshop held last month.
