One Greene County non-profit organization is looking to have its biggest fundraiser ever in 2021.

Last year, the Bringing Optimism and Opportunity to Students and Teachers (BOOST) of Greene County raised $50,359 from their 3rd annual BOOST Bash fundraiser. The fundraiser last year was done differently than the previous two years, due to COVID-19. Close to 100 auction items were done online. Through these donations, every teacher and student is impacted in the Greene County School District.

The past three years, BOOST has given over $175,000 back to the school district for various equipment purchases, field trips, and providing other supplemental funds that teachers and staff could not otherwise afford.

The 4th Annual BOOST Bash is slated for July 24th at the Greene County Fairgrounds in Jefferson. More details of the event will be released as it gets closer.
