The Jefferson and Grand Junction Fire Departments and Greene County Ambulance responded to a structure fire Saturday afternoon in Jefferson.

The call for a structure fire came in at roughly 2:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon at 500 South Grimmell. Jefferson Fire Chief Jack Williams says the structure was a barn and there was one injury to a fireman but Williams says the extent of the injury is unknown.

Williams tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the structure is most likely a complete loss.
