Wednesday, February 3rd

11:45am: Irene Mischke requested a Welfare Check on a family member at 506 South Olive Street. The officer spoke to the subject, who was fine.

1:58pm: Nellie Petterson spoke to an officer about a Civil Child Custody Issue.

2:00pm: Carol Creger reported receiving the IRS Phone Scam Call. She was advised she owed money in TX. and had Arrest Warrants in her name. She was told to purchase gift cards to make payments on the debt. Creger did not incur a loss.

5:12pm: Gayle Pike reported being harassed on Face Book. She showed the officers the messages she had received from a male. The officer noticed she had responded in a profane way to all the messages. The officer advised her to stop responding to the subject and simply block him from her Face Book Page.

10:31pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and 220th Streets resulted in Danielle Stroh of Omaha being cited for, “Fail to Obey Stop Sign.”

Thursday, February 4th

3:28am: Crawford Petterson requested an officer at 502 South Maple Street, for a female who had walked to the residence. The officer arrived as the female was leaving on her own.

7:32am: The Harrison House requested an officer at 204 West Harrison for a toaster fire. The officer arrived and found the toaster had been unplugged and was no longer burning. No damage was caused to the structure.

9:27am: An officer assisted a motorist who was stuck in the snow on Central, near Elm Street.

11:43am: Bob Hurley advised an officer that he had received the SS Security Phone Scam Call. Hurley did not give any information to the caller and Hurley did not incur a loss.

11:03am: Paula Upton spoke with an officer about concerns for the welfare of a female that Upton had removed from staying at her residence.

3:54pm: Candy Riley requested a Welfare Check on a family member at 104 East Monroe Street. The offices spoke to a guest staying at the residence and determined she needed to be evaluated by a medical doctor. The officer transported the female to ER for evaluation.

4:17pm: Nellie Petterson reported Suspected Fraud on several bank cards and gift cards to officers. She could not provide any evidence to support her suspicions. The officer is investigating.

5:20pm: Jennifer Happe requested an officer to document recent issues with a neighbor.
