For Bike Ride to Rippey (BRR) riders, they will be participating in a longstanding event tomorrow that will more than provide cold temperatures this year.

Even though BRR looks a little different this year due to the ongoing pandemic, Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the excitement is still there for carrying on the tradition this year, even with temperatures expected to be in the single digits.

“Ultimately, we are happy to move forward with the event. We have done a lot of work to make preparations for various scenarios. So we feel really good about where we are at and prepared for the event itself.”

The ride itself will begin at 10 a.m. and travel to Rippey, before heading back to Perry. Pasutti says people can participate in things like a selfie contest. She adds that they are set up for day of registration and merchandise sales at Hotel Pattee.
