It’s West Marshall (State Center) at Greene County basketball tonight in the new high school gym in Jefferson. The Heart of Iowa Activities Conference girl/boy doubleheader can be heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com with the girls playing at 6 p.m. and the boys to follow.
Greene County will be trying to even the season series with the Trojans after WM won both games in December in State Center. The girls final the first time was 53-25 and the boys game was 59-53.
The WM girls’ trio of Katy Reyerson, Lauren Solberg, and Delaney Nichols combine to average 30 points per game, but in the first meeting with the Rams, those three combined for 41 points. The Rams played the game at State Center with leading scorer and rebounder Brianna Habben.
The WM boys average 42 points a game, but they put 59 on the Rams the first time and had 45 of those points from Peyton Hart, Brayden Evertson, and Joey Tollefson. Those three are combining to average 28 points per contest.
