There is a chance of more snowfall on the way this weekend.

Weatherology Meteorologist Michael Karow says snowfall could happen from this afternoon through tonight, with 1-2 inches possible. He points out this weather event will be a drastic change from two weeks ago when there were several inches of wet, slushy snow that came through the area.

“This go around I think it’s going to be a bit of a fluffier snow out there and lower moisture content on that snowfall. Another positive we have with this storm system (is) less in the way of winds thankfully out there. Winds out of the southeast around 5-15 miles-per-hour.”

Karow adds, there is another possibility of snowfall happening late Sunday into Monday morning, which could impact the morning commute. According to the National Weather Service, there is a 50-percent chance of snow in Greene, Dallas and Guthrie counties this afternoon into the evening.
