The Links Restaurant at Lake Panorama National Resort is hosting its first-ever chili cook-off on January 30.

The entry-fee is $20. Participants are asked to prepare a gallon-and-a-half to two-gallons of chili for the event. The winner will be selected by popular vote at the sampling Saturday. There is no cost to spectate or sample the chili. The winner will take home 100 percent of the entry fees.

Food and Beverage Manager Blake Wenzel says he’s curious to see who in the area makes the best chili. There are no specific categories for the chili cook-off this year, but based on community response, categories may be added to future events.
