As COVID-19 vaccines continue to be administered, health officials say it is safe and effective.
Dallas County Health Department Public Information Officer Ann Cochran says she thinks there have been multiple factors in why the outlook on the COVID-19 vaccines have become increasingly positive.
“I imagine some of the positivity comes from seeing others, especially people of influence, getting their vaccine. I think another factor is just not hearing much at all on media about anyone having poor results.”
Cochran says people are seeing minimal side effects such as a sore arm or a slight fever. Cochran says side effects are one of the things people were hesitant about, but the positive coverage of COVID-19 vaccinations has helped to alleviate some of those concerns.
