Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center High School will host the Iowa High School Speech Association District Large Group competition tomorrow.

Due to COVID-19 precautions, there will only be two locations used for the contest: the library and auditorium.

The library group will feature Reader’s Theatre, Choral Readings, Radio Readings and three Improvisational teams. The auditorium group will feature a One Act performance, Mime, Musical Theatre and Ensemble Acting.

The competition begins at 9 a.m. Parents, family members and friends are invited to attend, but must social distance and wear masks. No live stream is available due to copyright restrictions. The AC/GC Speech and Theatre Department will not hold its annual showcase later this year.
