The Stuart Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting for LewisPlace LLC on Friday.

The custom apparel and home decor shop owned by Katelyn Bovinett is set to open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This will be the Chamber’s second ribbon-cutting this month, following the opening of the renovated Casey’s last week.

Chamber President Ryan Morrison says he’s happy to see another business open in Stuart.

“The more business that’s in one location, the more it draws people in. It helps everyone. It’s kinda like that old saying ‘rising tides lift all boats,’ so it’s good to bring in more and more businesses.”

The ceremony will be held at noon at 103 NW 2nd Street.
