A rural Adel man has been charged in an ongoing homicide investigation.
According to a press release from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, 37-year-old Mark Daniel Mash was charged with first-degree murder and dominion/control of a firearm by a domestic abuser.
The charges stem from an investigation that began on December 22nd by the Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation into the death of 20-year-old Jakob Mash of Perry.
Mark Mash was detained on December 22nd on other chargers and is still in the Dallas County Jail. The firearm that was used in the alleged incident was located and seized.
