ADM boys basketball played solid defense as well as good offense in a solid and needed win over Gilbert on Tuesday night 55-41. ADM was able to play some great defense throughout the night as every player that entered were able to get some big defense performances that slowed down Gilbert to one of their lowest scoring outputs of the season.
ADM trailed after one quarter of play 16-13, but only gave up 25 points after three quarters making life difficult for Gilbert.
ADM offensively was able to get some great performances out of senior Ryan Juhnke and his 15 points, along with Tate Stine-Smith scoring 13 points. On the defensive side, Sam Hlas was able to record multiple steals and Dylan Anderson was able to lead all players in blocks on the night making life difficult in the paint.
The Tigers really showed great energy throughout the night, and showed that they can be a tough team to play when they dial in defensively like they did Tuesday.
ADM now improves to 4-7 on the season while Gilbert falls to 5-6. ADM will be looking for their second straight win on Friday night when they are back at home against Bondurant in Adel.
