DCG Girls basketball was able to get a solid performance on Monday night in their win over Newton, winning by the score of 76-43, with the 76 points being the most that the team has scored in a game this season.

The Fillies were able to get some big offensive performances with three different players with double figures, with senior Julia Reis putting in 20 points, sophomore Emma Miner putting up 15, and senior Lexi Protzman able to put up 10. The Fillies were able to shoot 51% on the night and hit a solid 11 threes as a team.

Ten different players on the roster were able to register in the scoring column, one of the best totals of the season.

The Fillies are a terrific team on both ends of the floor, and though defense will be the key most nights to getting victories, if the Fillies have more offensive nights like they did Monday, this is a team that is going to be very dangerous come February and maybe even March as well.
