adm-7

ADM Tigers girls basketball did their best on Tuesday night against the number 3 team in 4A in Gilbert, as the two teams were tied at halftime, but Gilbert used a big second half to take the game 62-42. ADM was terrific in the first half, as they played solid defense that slowed down the high scoring attack of Gilbert that allowed them to go the locker room tied at 24.

In the third quarter. Gilbert’s offense was able to wake up and spark to the tune of 20 points, and didn’t look back taking a hard fought victory.

The Tigers were lead in scoring by sophomore Nicole Storek, who lead the Tigers with 13 points on the night. Storek unfortunately battled with foul trouble throughout the night and fouled out early in the fourth quarter, thwarting any comeback opportunities for the Tigers. That said, ADM fought hard despite the loss, and hope they can continue to get 32 minutes of high energy basketball.

ADM will continue their tough stretch later on in the week with number 10 Bondurant-Farrar coming to town as ADM will be looking for the upset.
