The Perry boys basketball team couldn’t survive an eight plus minute scoring drought Monday night as Saydel used a dominant second half to pull away 46-25. The game was tied at halftime at 16 before Perry went ice cold in the third quarter as the Golden Eagles opened up a double digit lead. Perry unofficially was just 2-20 from the floor in the second half. June Riesberg led Perry with 14 points. The Bluejays were playing in their first game in nearly a month following the Christmas break and quarantine. Perry will travel to Carlisle tonight for a Raccoon River conference doubleheader. The Wildcats defeated Perry 62-35 back in early December. Carlisle has lost 10 straight games since. You can listen to the game on KDLS beginning at 7:30.
