With the first week of the 89th Iowa General Assembly in the books, focal points of the session are rising to the top.
Iowa House Representative for District 19 Carter Nordman says one of those important topics is childcare.
“Childcare has always been a priority but now especially with the pandemic there is more issues that have arrived with it.”
Nordman says multiple proposals and ideas will be brought to the table to address this issue throughout the session.
“We just want to make sure that there is increased access of quality affordable childcare in every corner of the state.”
Nordman recently completed his first week in an Iowa session after the November general election.
