Greene County ISU Extension is continuing its Ag Coffee series this week.
Extension Director Lori Mannel says January’s Ag Coffee is “Energy Savings for Your Home and Farm.” The topics that will be covered include how to efficiently use energy in the home and farm, as well as finding opportunities for effective and easy energy savings. Mannel invites anyone to join them for this free, informal event.
“Many of us have been strapped financially with COVID or other reasons. We don’t know what kind of winter we’re having, but knock on wood it’s been fairly mild right now. But we also want to reduce our energy costs.”
ISU Extension Agricultural Engineer Shawn Shouse will lead the discussion. It will be held on Friday from 9:30-11am at the Extension office in Jefferson. Midland Power Cooperative is sponsoring this free event. Mannel adds that due to the pandemic, pre-registration is required. Call the Extension office at 515-386-2138 or stop in to sign up.
