If all goes according to plan, the Greene County varsity basketball teams will get plenty of game time this week. The Rams have a girl/boy doubleheader scheduled tomorrow night in Woodward vs. Woodward-Granger. Tuesday night, South Hamilton (Jewell) visits the new high school gym in Jefferson for a girl/boy twin bill. Another girl/boy doubleheader is scheduled for Thursday in Perry after two earlier attempts to play ended in postponements. Saturday, the boys play Grandview Christian (Des Moines) in Gilbert at 12 p.m. as part of the Gilbert Boys’ Basketball Classic.

Coach Todd Gordon’s girls’ team starts the week with a 3-6 record while Coach Chris Nelson’s boys’ team is 1-8.
