Dallas Center – Grimes multi-sport athlete Blake Willey committed to Grand View to continue his football and track and field career. It’s a great fit for both schools as he will have the opportunity to play both sports that he cares about and is really talented as well.

Willey was a top defender and starters for the Mustang football team for multiple years, putting up great numbers from the linebacker position with 50 tackles on the season with eight of those being for loss. He also recorded two interceptions on the season as well. Willey was a massive reason why the Mustangs were able to reach the state quarterfinals during his junior year and be ranked number 1 during the regular season for his senior year.

He goes to a program in Grand View that is a terrific athletic program in NAIA, and has seen a lot of success on the football field in recent years.
