Area City Halls in Guthrie County will stay open on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

The Stuart City Hall will be open from 8 to 4:30 p.m. Panora City Hall will be open from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and then reopen from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Guthrie Center City Hall will be open from 8 to 4:30 p.m. Garbage collection routes will also not be affected by the holiday.

The Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library in Guthrie Center will be open from noon to 6 p.m. The Panora Public Library will also be open from noon to 6:30 p.m.
