With the start of the second half of the school year, school districts are continuing to review their return-to-learn plans, and the Perry School District is continuing with one that works.
Superintendent Clark Wicks says the district isn’t looking to change anything with the return-to-learn plan, as he feels it’s a good mixture of daily on-site learning while also offering online classes, as part of their hybrid model.
“We are pushing forward with what has already been working. We feel that we’ve hit a sweet spot with a combination of having on-site with our staff and a slightly shortened day to meet the needs of the online students.”
Wicks says they have continued their streak of having on-site classes while still offering a quality online program for students who may be medically exempt or have certain situations that have them learning remotely.
