The Greene County FFA Chapter recently held the Sub-District competition at the high school in Jefferson.
FFA Advisor Raelyn Harris says four students did well enough to qualify for the district contest. Those students include Grace Hardaway, who received the gold award in creed speaking; Conner Allender, who also received the gold award for extemporaneous speaking; Madison Grow received gold for public speaking, and Zach Burbank received the silver award for arc welding. Other students were named as alternates for the district contest, which included Max Riley in ag broadcasting, and Grace Curtis, Analynn Baugh and McKenzie Enrich for the chapter program.
