The first week of 2021 competition for the Greene County wrestling team continues tonight in Burnside. Coach Zach Beekman’s Rams are 7-5 in dual meets and they’ll meet Audubon, Ogden, and the host Southeast Valley Jaguars with action starting at 6 p.m. The high school gym in Gowrie is under construction, thus the move to the SEV middle school gym in Burnside.

The Rams went 2-1 on Tuesday night in Greenfield with wins over Nodaway Valley and Martensdale-St. Mary’s, and a three point loss to Woodward-Granger. McKinley Robbins remains undefeated (12-0) on the season at 120 lbs., where he is ranked number one in Class 2A. Brady Stauffer at 138 lbs. and Nate Black at 152 lbs. each have just one loss.

Audubon enters tonight with a 3-8 record, with Ogden at 4-4, and SEV 10-4.
