Panorama Elementary students  sent “thank you” notes to 70 area veterans in appreciation for their service.

Over winter break, the school received a gift back from Army Sergeant-First Class Brandon Godwin who is currently serving at Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo: a folded United States flag that was flown over the camp on November 26, 2020.

Godwin is a former Panorama Elementary School student and has two children in the school currently, Adalynn and Lincoln.

The flag will be placed in a case and displayed in the school library next to another folded flag that was flown in Afghanistan on January 16, 2003.
